Dr. Erin Rurak, ND
Naturopathic Physician, Clinic Owner
Dr. Erin Rurak is a Naturopathic Doctor and the founder of Full Circle Integrative Health in Burnaby, BC. With over a decade of clinical experience, she provides evidence informed, integrative care with a focus on menopause management, integrative cancer care, and complex chronic conditions.
Dr. Rurak holds advanced certifications as a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO) and is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). These designations reflect focused training in integrative oncology and hormone health, placing her among a small number of naturopathic physicians with this level of expertise.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia and conducted research in endocrinology at BC Children’s Hospital, where she explored factors contributing to metabolic disease. She later graduated from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and has since developed a focused practice in women’s health and cancer care.

Dr. Rurak provides care for patients across British Columbia, both in-person in Burnaby and virtually.
Her clinical focus includes:
-Integrative cancer care (support during treatment, recovery, and survivorship)
-Perimenopause and menopause treatment (hormone therapy, symptom management)
-Cancer prevention and secondary prevention strategies
-Fatigue, metabolic health, and complex chronic conditions
-IV therapy including iron infusions, vitamin C, and supportive care
She works closely with patients to develop individualized plans that integrate lifestyle medicine, targeted supplementation, lab testing, and when appropriate, prescription therapies.
Integrative Oncology & Advanced Training
Dr. Rurak has worked in the field of naturopathic oncology for over 10 years and provides adjunctive cancer care alongside conventional treatments. Her approach focuses on:
Supporting patients through chemotherapy and radiation
Reducing side effects such as fatigue, nausea, and neuropathy
Improving quality of life during treatment
Supporting recovery and longbterm health after cancer
Full Circle Integrative Health is also a CNME-approved integrative oncology residency site in partnership with Bastyr University, a distinction held by only a small number of clinics in Canada.

Dr. Rurak believes that patients should be actively involved in their care. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Rurak is actively involved in mentorship, education, and advancing the field of naturopathic medicine. She regularly supports students and new graduates and contributes to ongoing speaking at medical conferences in integrative oncology and women’s health.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and has a love for animals, especially dogs and horses.
